BR-549 front man Mead steps to the head of the class and turns in his first solo album. While he doesn’t stray too far from the work of his band, he does have his own unique sound and has come up with a fine recording where he does just what he wants. Working with producer Ray Kennedy he gets just the sound he was looking for. It’s a bit rock and a bit country with some rootsy tracks that sound like future barroom classics for sure. All in all a great first outing for this multi talented musician.
