Midwest legend Iceberg offers up his most unique recording to date. All of the songs were written and recorded over the past few years. He hadn’t gotten around to releasing them and just left them in the can. When a fellow musician and friend had health issues he joined up as part of the benefit. For his part he had this disc of songs pressed and donated all of the proceeds to the fund. The disc has been a smash and he’s now offering it commercially. He’s one of the best kept secrets around these parts and performs much more than he records so this is a special disc in many ways. You’ll hear a splash of Prine and maybe a little Kristofferson, but he’s his own man and the songs are first rate. A big heart, a big talent, and a big hand for this guy.
