We have to be selective about the bluegrass music we offer here because there is so much out there and it’s easy to get overwhelmed with essential recordings. However, when something like this comes along we don’t hesitate. Nugent offers our favorite kind of bluegrass: steeped in tradition, but with a sassy contemporary slant that we can’t ignore.
