Over the years she’s pretty much convinced us she can sing just about any song and style of music that you put in front of her. However, for this all new album she’s chosen to go back to her roots. Those roots of course are in good old fashioned jug band music. Her initial recordings essentially revived the genre in the early sixties. For this romp she’s enlisted the help of a few old friends. Those gathering around the jug include Dan Hicks, John Sebastian, Taj Mahal, David Grisman, Kit Stovepipe and more. As the disc declares “good time music for hard times.” We agree. Stony Plain LISTEN
